Below are just some of the live websites that are using Product Attribute Pictures in various ways. This list by no means covers the entire range of PAPs functionality, but gives an idea of a few of the possible behaviors you can configure with PAPS.

Clicking a thumbnail will display an enlarged image depicting the currently selected options from both sets of options. The native opyion selection dropdowns are automatically updated when a thumbnail is clicked (this feature is standard for Virtuemart platforms only).

Clicking thumbnails also selects the product option for inclusion in the cart when 'Add to Cart' is clicked. Standard modification (MOD:001) - replace default product image with PAPs enlarged picture.

Click larger image for Javascript popup presented as gallery. Click thumbnails to select attribute option for inclusion in cart. Standard modification (MOD:002) - attribute option selection via thumbnails or native dropdown selection - both also change the enlarged image, dropdown is updated when thumbnail is clicked. Standard modification (MOD:001) - replace default product image with PAPs enlarged picture.

All thumbnails are contained within a scrollable overflow pane to save space. Select which attribute to add to the cart by clicking the radio button beneath the attribute picture. Once added to the cart, the selected product attribute picture will be displayed in the cart page.

Changes to the attribute option selections (e.g. size: XXL) dynamically change the product price. These behaviors are out-of-the-box features however the replacement of the default product image with PAPs and the changing of the main image and product price via dropdowns are standard PAPs customizations.

The Javascript popup over the enlarged image is activated, as well as a simple implementation of the CSS tooltips for thuimbnails.
